Louise Cummings is Professor of Linguistics at Nottingham Trent University, UK. She has been editor of The Routledge Pragmatics Encyclopedia (2010) and the Cambridge Handbook of Communication Disorders (2013). She has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard and Cambridge Universities.
