Experts predict an "Identity Big Bang" in 2007 that will require developers to understand identity, why it's important, and how to implement in browser and service based applications. Beginning Windows CardSpace: From Novice to Professional provides essential information for readers who work with identity solutions or structures. It first offers a baseline in identity, including coverage of identity concepts, the laws of identity, and the identity metasystem. It then details Windows CardSpace: what it is, where it could be used, where it should be used, and how to implement it. It includes multiple case studies that showcase different scenarios where the technology is employed as well as high-quality demos with universal themes that are applicable to every reader's work. Author Marc Mercurri works directly with the Windows CardSpace product group and has done real implementations with major customers.
