P&P Live! YA Sci-Fi & Fantasy Summer Reads Panel—with Lish McBride, Natalie Mae, Andrea Robertson, and Laura Brook Robson

Upcoming Event
Wednesday, July 28, 2021 - 7:00pm

Join us for a YA Sci-Fi and Fantasy Summer Reads conversation with authors Natalie Mae, Lish McBride, Andrea Robertson, and Laura Brook Robson . Their latest books will be featured as they discuss all things fantastical!

Natalie Mae (The Cruelest Mercy) is an ex-programmer, a dark chocolate enthusiast, and an author of young adult novels. She has also been a freelance editor and a Pitch Wars mentor, and she feels it notable to mention she once held a job where she had to feed spiders. When not writing, she can be found wandering the Colorado wilderness with her family. Find her on Twitter and Instagram @ByNatalieMae, and online at nataliemaebooks.com.

Lish McBride (Curses) is the author of funny and creepy young adult books such as Hold Me Closer, Necromancer; Necromancing the Stone; Firebug; and Pyromantic. She has published short stories on Tor.com, and the anthologies Cornered, What to Read in the Rain, and Kisses & Curses. Her first book, Hold Me Closer, Necromancer, was an ALA Best Book for Young Adults title, Morris Award finalist, and won the Scandiuzzi Children's Book Award. Lish is a former indie bookseller, has an MFA from University of New Orleans, and prefers pie to cake. While she has no long term goals for world domination, she would like her own castle.

Andrea Roberston (Cast in Secrets and Shadow) is the internationally bestselling author of the Nightshade series and Invisibility, which she co-wrote with David Levithan. She is also the author of the Inventor's Secret trilogy and Forged in Fire and Stars. Originally from Minnesota, she now lives in California.

Laura Brooke Robson (Girls at the Edge of the World) grew up in Bend, Oregon and moved to California to study English at Stanford University. She currently lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she enjoys drinking too much coffee and swimming in places she's probably not supposed to swim. Girls at the Edge of the World is her debut novel.
