How many times, while reading This Changes Everything, did I almost throw it through the window? This book smacked me in the face with the reality that mitigating climate change will take more than recycling office paper, taking shorter showers, carpooling…it will take an upheaval of an order in which every aspect of our lives is complicit—the decades-long global project to enshrine capitalism over everything. Although it delivers a bitter pill the writing is so impassioned the book is a compelling read. Necessary reading for anyone who aspires to informed global citizenship.
