FIN & LADY by Cathleen Schine

July 11, 2013

Cathleen Schine spoke about her book, Fin & Lady, at Politics & Prose on Thursday, July 11, 2013. In this clip, Schine speaks about writing and the eccentricities of the publishing world.

Orphaned at age eleven, Fin moves to Greenwich Village to live with his older half-sister, Lady. It’s 1964. The world is changing fast, and as the siblings are swept up in the social and cultural revolutions swirling around them, Fin tries to save the impulsive Lady from her own recklessness. Schine, author of The Three Weissmanns of Westport, again shows her flair for storytelling that’s both comic and affecting. You can watch the entire Politics & Prose event below.
